The diamond finally arrived today. Apparently
it arrived at Customs on Saturday and they called me on Monday to apply for some
number or something. I rang them on Wednesday to find out what was happening
and found that there was import tax to pay. Once I arranged that it was on the
way and arrived this morning.
We are going to see about having the ring made
tonight so its finally all coming together!
Thanks for your help - it was so easy (once we
finally made up our minds what to get), and the diamond is lovely. Much bigger
than I thought it would be. We had it checked over by a gemologist who approved
it all and suggested we get a setting with six clasps and a metal band.
Can't wait to show it off and tell everyone
where we got it from.

Friday and it is everything we expected it to be! It is a very beautiful
diamond. We have had two certified gemologists look at the diamond and
both confirmed that the statistics were accurate. One even said he may
have rated it a VVS2 (versus its VS2 GIA rating).

haven't written earlier - things have been very busy at Ford at the moment!
The ring
arrived on Friday morning and I actually opened the package at the jeweller who
is to create the setting. He checked it and agreed with you - it is a really
beautiful stone! He also checked the ID number and confirmed it matched the
certificate. I had no problems with customs which of course was a huge bonus!
The Jeweller will also be providing me with a valuation but did confirm that "he
could never compete with the price that I was able to get the stone for".
I think I will
be in the market for more stones in the near future and I will definitely be
using your service again. I have also recommended you to numerous friends.

Yes the diamond
arrived this morning in a very big box for such a small stone but in perfect
condition.
On a more serious
note the diamond looks perfect and I can only thank you for the level of service
provided, particularly as purchasing such an item on line is not something you
do everyday and hence having some reservations about it being fully legitimate.
From the time of
our initial e mails through to personal discussions the whole process was
carried out with the utmost level of professionalism.
As previously
mentioned we are off to the jewellers next week to design the ring and once it
has been made will be getting the whole thing appraised, which from information
obtained to date and the comments made by the jeweller will put the value of the
ring at a cost much higher than I will have paid.
